Alston Moor SOS got off to a flying start on Friday 14th January when many local residents braved the weather to launch the shop local campaign.
Rory Stewart, Local MP for Penrith & the Borders helped to launch the new Alston initiative with Sustainable Alston Moor and local residents, to promote independent retail businesses in the market town and across Alston Moor. SOS which stands for Support our Shops and Services is a campaign that will be running throughout the year.
