We decided to formalise ourselves in order to apply more easily for funding and to open a bank account – all things that are easier to do if an organisation has a formal status. The steering group keeps a light hand on the rudder – anyone can join so long as you have some time and energy to give. We meet every two months. Meetings are discussion based, and enable us to catch up on progress and kick around ideas. Most of the activity takes place in between meetings. Our meeting dates will be posted on the Home page.

We are members of the Alston Moor Partnership and Alston Moor Business Association.
